Not as well long later on I start began purchasing my own music, I stumbled across Rat Music For Rat People. The title excited me. Would there be songs almost giant rats and their unwilling food source?

Not as such.

But the band listing was almost as interesting every bit the title: Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, Bad Brains, Circumvolve Jerks... haha! A band named Flipper? Slap-up! D.O.A., Crucifix, TSOL, Avengers, and The Dils.

It was a risky purchase. I knew of four of the 10 bands, merely had only actually listened to Black Flag and the Circle Jerks. And information technology was a live album. Fifty-fifty so I knew that live albums were never to be trusted. Unless it was Johnny Cash. Y'all could ever trust Johnny Cash...

In the finish, I swung the deal on the merits of the Dead Kennedys name. It ended up a wise purchase.

It would besides be a wise purchase for you.
Exist wise.

There are merely a precious few documents that capture the nativity of the American Hardcore scene such every bit this comp has. Add to that the superior engineering, the DK'south, Flipper and Bad Brains, et al. as close to being in that location as you lot tin get. Don't worry kiddies, as presently as my Scoutmaster is delivered this bad boy wil be up for you @D*mono*d.me - See ya

Sweet! All live comp with nothing simply the large names for you like Expressionless Kennedys, TSOL, Blackness Flag, Avengers, Dils and more. For me the high points are the ii D.O.A. tracks, full of snarl and snot and the Circle Jerks doing a high octane version of "Live Fast Die Young." Take note, besides, of this early version of Blackness Flag's "Scream" with improvised lyrics. Equally my old neighbor Mr. Finklefarb sez, "So what's not to like?"
